Mule,

The Ltb's are great offroad tires, and excellent in the snow. They shed em like a champ! I prefer a narrow tall tire b/c they get in a dig alot better than wide floaters. The narrow tire handles well on the road. They definitley howl a bit and you can hear the gas being guzzled, but all in all they are excellent tires for multi purpose use. I dont do tons of commuting in mine so i could see them being a little annoying if you drive alot of high speed highway trips. The other issue is that they are bias ply (triple walled) so they are great at really low pressures and get great traction, but they tend to have to run high pressures to run them on the road. If the truck sits cold for a while, they also tend to flat spot a little and wobble like crazy until the tires get warmed up. Honestly though, they are not intended as street tires, but they work fine on the road and are nice and stable. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I think I'll throw it on Ebay tonight and see what happens. It's got lots of potential, well not just that it's got alot done to it, just not what I need right now, as painful as that is to admit.

Thanks for the heads up...

Later,
Mark

Thank You

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I just like these tires a bunch and like to ask owners what they think of them.

P.S. I wouldn't put up with that s***, I would raise some major hell before I let go of a 40 like that! RETALIATE!!

Engine Fire but Rust free 82' FJ60 for sale in SOCAL - OME and 33"

After learning that I cannot swap my OME suspension from my fire damaged truck to my new one, I have no reason to keep her anymore.

The details:

The engine fire took out the upper part of the engine, and made it through the firewall and burned some of the harness. Not really as bad as it sounds.
The hood and one fender had the paint burned on a section.

The truck is a tan 82.
It has a full OME Med/Heavy suspension kit.
33X12.50 BFG Mud terrains on 15" aluminum rims in very good condition.
A recent $350 window tint job with a lifetime warranty.
The transmission and xfer case and radiator were serviced at Warden's a few years ago.
The engine has a Saginaw P/S conversion.
The truck does not have bumpers.

$1700

2000 TLC for sale in NM

Well guys, I guess I am going to try and hit everyone up again to see if anyone is interested in my LC. I have dropped the price considerably due to the fact that my house is getting closer to being completed. I have a 2000 TLC with 72, 500 miles. The tires still look new. The vehicle is in excellent condition. It is loaded without NAV. It is garage kept and washed on a regular basis. It is a family hauler, so it has never been on any trails. The vehicle has always been in New Mexico (which means no salt or humidity) and I am the second owner. It has the Toyota Certified Warranty still on it until 2006. I just recently had the head gaskets replaced, the timing belt, the serpentine belt, the water pump and the front diff seal all replaced. Since all these parts were replaced, the radiator fluid and the oil have been replaced as well. So, in other words, the LC is good for another 100,000 miles. All the work was completed by Toyota and I am going to take it back into the shop to have the exhaust manifolds replaced here in a few weeks when the parts arrive. Once again, this vehicle is in excellent shape. I am asking $25,500. If you would like pictures of it or have any questions, please send an e-mail to G_FORCE0018@yahoo.com.

Thanks, Gary
