1983 FJ-40 For Sale in Dallas, TX!
I have a 1983 FJ-40 for sale that is in great condition! It has had an engine replacement approximately 2 years ago. Everything has been kept original under the hood and on the body. It has a small quarter size portion of rust in the rear floor and some metal decay beside the driver and passenger seats next to the doors, but other than that the Cruiser is in ship shape! Despite the minor problems, I have had offers from individuals for up to $40,000. It has both hard top and soft top. Both hard doors and soft doors. I've owned it since day one and have had a grill guard welded onto the frame. I have put 2.5 inch shackles to help give the Cruiser a little lift for slightly bigger tires (33"). Other than that the entire outside of the Cruiser is completely original. If you would like any more information on this Land Cruiser, email me at GuitarGuyMF56@AOL.COM. No late model cruiser with rust in the front floors is gonna bring 40k. It's a HUGE job to do rust repair in later model trucks, and believe me, I've done a s*** load of em. I realize it's your first post, but you need to go to ebay or post a load of pix to find someone even remotely interested at that price. And your truck better have a/c and ps. You're probably only over by something more than half. Reality is a bitch!
Why are two people describing this rig-one from Dallas and one from Oregon. Please clarify.

This one is BOUGHT. Truck is in route back to Georgia right now. I plan to be back in Georgia by Saturday night. "Wild At Heart" (Russel) was right about this rig. No rust anywhere, very few cosmetic issues. Engine runs pretty strong, but will still be looked over thoroughly by me and my Toyota tech buddies.

BTT. All offers condidered. Wont part the motor, but might sell the lift or third row seats or such things. If someone wants the lift, they would have to get me their original parts to put back on mine.
