Just had a request for this finish :

Is anyone else interested in the 17" Five Star flow formed (Landcruiser 100 fitment) in full machined face with gunmetal accents>

The center cap design for the 100-series would be different from the examples shown here (see below - I had to split the attachments into two separate posts), but other than the cap design the wheel itself would be identical.

I'm still receiving some sporadic requests for the 17x8" +30 5x150 Six Shooter flow formed in matte black, but so far not enough to warrant a production run. Is anyone else interested?

We're about 45 days (+/- a couple of weeks) out for the matte bronze and matte gunmetal 17x8" Five Star flow formed special order. ETA late November (+/-).

Still on track for this schedule? Thinking it's about time I make a tire decision and get the order placed, just don't want to end up with a stack of tires taking up garage space for weeks more than necessary

ETA is approximately 2-3 weeks from today. This could change slightly because of the holiday schedule at the port, but I would say that now is a good time for you to start shopping for tires.

As for the special order for matte bronze and matte gunmetal - we're getting pretty close to the wheels being in stock. Should be a matter of days / less than a few weeks at this point. Thank you again everyone for your orders and for your patience!

Hi @jaewastooshort . Thanks for taking my call just now.

I want to post this message publicly as well. We just sent everyone an e-mail regarding their backorder for the 17x8" +30mm 5x150 Five Star flow formed wheels for the Land Cruiser 100 / LX470.

Unfortunately we have been informed by our manufacturer (Konig) that there's been a delay and the wheels did not leave the factory in November as initially expected. It's more than a little embarrassing that we've just now been informed of the delay. We had long been expecting that the wheels would have been ready to ship out of our warehouse by now, let alone the factory.

Konig is experiencing some really significant delays brought on by increased demand for wheels manufactured outside of China (due to the high tariffs on Chinese goods). The manufacturing aspect hasn't been affected. The delays are logistical delays, but nevertheless the delays are significant.

The new ETA for the wheels is late-February 2025 to our warehouse in California.

There's no sugar coating this, and it's extremely regrettable and embarrassing for us to not be able to meet the timeframe that we quoted everyone. It's the first time in 21 years of working with Konig wheels that I've experienced a delay like this. The tariffs have brought on more significant disruptions than anything we experienced during 2020-21, which up until now was the most disruptive period of time we had ever experienced.

I've personally emailed everyone who left a deposit and offered a full refund.

We're still going to be producing the wheels, and we're not planning on going anywhere, but lead times will likely be longer than usual for the foreseeable future. If you'd like to continue waiting we would be so grateful to keep your business, if you're interested in pre-ordering a set we'd be super grateful to earn your business, but I also understand that it's a big request to ask you guys to wait until late February / early March when you were expecting us to have the wheels in stock by now.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or requests. I'll also be posting some information soon about upcoming wheels / new options that will be available later in 2026.

Love that you are being upfront about this. And these delays are very real and impact many industries, something I am seeing in my corner of manufacturing as well.

I will need to buy a set of these when the time comes for new tires!

Hey man, all good. That just means I’ve got a little more time to decide on tires and get that going. Also means I don’t have to scramble to get em all ready/ mounted for a late-January trip that I do every year.

On the whole- NBD. I’m a healthcare supply chain dude professionally and we are seeing all sorts of weird stuff we usually wouldn’t as a result of all the international business tariff stuff too. I won’t say I *expected* this but also? Totally not shocked. Keep us posted and when they’re ready I’ll finalize my invoice however that goes and then… on we shall rock.
