Timeline Update:

I've been in communication with my manufacturer for the last week and a half. We have a pretty solid confirmation that the wheels will be sailing by March 23.

The ETA to the port of Long Beach in California is April 20 (+/-), and then usually we receive our container within 5-10 business days of the container arriving at the port (sometimes faster). If everything remains on track we would be able to start shipping orders in early May.

...

Sincerely,

Dustin

Thanks for the update... now I have a more firm "due date" for getting my front end rebuild/alignment finished. I just wish I hadn't ordered tires yet because now I'm really leaning toward wanting to go to a 35" as well...

Cool. Glad you like them! Right now we're producing them in gunmetal (gloss), matte black and matte bronze. The matte colors are satin-matte (not super dull/extremely flat, but not glossy).

The ring is removable/replaceable, and it's also fully forged, hand polished and clear coated for durability. All of the ring fasteners are stainless steel.

Thank you! I'm glad you like the wheels too.

The final price will be determined in May once we have the wheels ready for sale, but our 17" FN Rock Warrior forged wheels with removable rings will be right around / just over $500 per wheel + shipping.

It bears repeating that these are premium forged wheels with removable, forged billet rock rings (the rings are quite expensive/time consuming to produce). The pricing is higher than our flow formed wheels (or especially non-flow formed Icon wheels). We've also incorporated additional improvements into the wheels over the original TRD Rock Warrior wheels : reinforced lips/flanges, deeper bead seats with retention ridges, taller bead humps, fully finished barrels (the original TRD Rock Warrior wheels have raw aluminum barrels prone to oxidation/corrosion), and more. I'll make a separate post soon with more details so as to not take this thread too far off topic, but in the meantime please feel free to post any questions/comments here or contact me directly. :)
Interested in RW-type wheels in bronze. 👍

What size tire did you end up ordering? I'm of the opinion that 34" is about the max tire diameter that fits well on a Land Cruiser 100.

Also I have good news. I just received an email directly from the president of Konig (our manufacturer). The 17x8" +30 5x150 Five Star flow formed wheels officially left the port in Malaysia last week with an ETA to the port of Los Angeles of April 22. We're only about 50 or 60 miles from the port, so barring any additional delays we should see the wheels within a week of the container landing at the port.

Thank you all very much for your patience. We knew the tariffs would cause delays and disruptions, but we never expected anything quite this bad. Our expectation was a 2-3 month delay, but that morphed into 5 months. I really can't thank you guys enough for bearing with us.

The forged 17" Rock Warrior wheels should be ready by the end of April / first week of May (the forged wheels are made in a different facility from our flow formed wheels). The wheels themselves are just about ready, but it's the removable, polished and clear coated billet rock rings that aren't quite finished yet. The polishing shop is a little backed up. 👍

Any chance the TRD center caps for the original RW wheels will fit on those? Doesn’t really matter, I’m just curious

basically the same 33" size I was running on my factory 16"... went with 285/70-17 but started to reconsider after seeing the same tire in a 315/70-17 on a new Bronco (along with the 35" fitment I've seen some guys on here post pics of)

Yes, the original caps will fit our Rock Warrior wheels. However, even better than that the caps for our Rock Warrior wheels are machined from billet aluminum and will work as replacements for the plastic OEM Rock Warrior caps. The OEM caps were prone to fading, peeling and falling apart. I've already sold quite a few of our caps to customers with old Rock Warrior wheels who needed replacement caps.

285/70R17 is going to fit great.

If you decide to go up a size I would go with 285/75R17 (34") or 295/75R17 (new size from Toyo) over 315/70R17. In my opinion 315/70R17 is just a little too much tire for a Land Cruiser 100.
