We have the 18" FX Pro in production, but they won't be ready until sometime in March (about 3 to 4 months from now).

The specs are 18x9" +28 5x150 (110mm hub centric) and the wheels are flow formed. We will have high gloss dark gunmetal and matte black available around March 2026, and if you'd like to pre-order a set please let me know.

We're developing the mold for a 17" flow formed Countersteer Type X as we speak. The wheels will be ready in the late-Spring of 2026 (6-8 months from now). Here's a rendering of the design (the center cap would be different for a Landcruiser 100 application).

We incorporated a Landcruiser 100 fitment option into the design and engineering of the 17" Countersteer Type X shown above, but given the age of the 100-series and declining demand for 100-series specific, we'll probably want to put together a group order before we make a bunch of 100-series specific Countersteer Type X wheels.

Otherwise, we will offer the option to modify a set of the wheels that we'll be stocking for the Landcruiser 200 and the 2007-21 Tundra / 2008-22 Sequoia.

Final specs for this wheel are to be determined, but we have designed it to accommodate 17x8.0" +25 ~ +35, 17x8.5" +35 ~ +42 and 17x9.0" +25 ~ +42 (again, final specs TBD).

Thanks! I'll add you to my list. In fact it's probably time to go over the list and see who is still interested/get an idea of where we're at on the Six Shooters. The Six Shooter didn't gain nearly as much traction as the Five Star, and the requests have been a little all over the place. We haven't really been able to get enough interest (yet) in any one particular color of Six Shooters in the LC100 fitment.
Dustin, Hi there. How is it looking like interest wise on this wheel?

There has been some scattered interest for the 17" Countersteer Type X in a Land Cruiser 100 specific fitment. I haven't made a push for a special order for the Land Cruiser 100 17" Countersteer Type X just yet, because we're still experiencing some logistical delays with our manufacturer.

The best option would be to do a special run of Land Cruiser 100 specific wheels in our factory, like we did with the 17" Five Stars. However, it's more likely that I will be offering a custom machining option where we take the Countersteer Type X or Six Shooter wheels intended for the Land Cruiser 200 / Sequoia / Tundra and open up the center bore to fit over the Land Cruiser hubs. We can do that machining here locally for a slight additional cost. I've done that recently for a few customers who couldn't wait any longer for the 17x8" +30 Five Stars.

I'll get some better pictures of the new 17" Countersteer Type X flow formed wheels that we just produced for final testing before full production, but here's a picture one in 17x8.5" +42mm 5x150 matte black (center bore / center cap design would be different for the LC100).

Not a bother at all. You guys have all been so gracious and patient with us.

I've been working on gathering information from our manufacturer so that I can update you all. My gut instinct is that we're looking at another 4-8 weeks from today, because I don't have any paperwork for the container yet. I've been told that the ports in Malaysia / logistics are still a mess because of all the companies who fled China after the tariffs were announced (not just automotive / wheel companies, but all kinds of companies).

The offer still stands that anyone who wants to cancel will receive a 100% refund of their deposit immediately upon their request. Additionally, just as we informed you all when we received your backorders your prices will not change as long as you don't cancel your order.

I've also been working with customers who want us to machine 17x9" +25 5x150 Five Stars that we have in stock to fit the Land Cruiser 100. The 17x9's were intended for the Land Cruiser 200 / '07-21 Tundra / '08-21 Sequoia, but we can machine the center bore and drill/tap the wheel to accept the taller cap to fit over the Land Cruiser 100 hubs.

No matter what, I will post here next week with an update, and anyone who wants to talk about the back order can call or text me anytime on my cell (714)390-9387 or call the office at (951)735-1100. I just want to be clear that we're not running away from the fact that the wheels are so substantially delayed beyond what we initially expected. The delays are extremely embarrassing for us. It pains me to continually post about delays and to disappoint you guys.

For better or worse, and I'm not alluding to any personal beliefs or opinions here, the tariffs have objectively been the most disruptive thing I've ever experienced in my 25 years in the wheel business. The delays and disruptions weren't this bad even during 2020-22.

We were recently notified about a substantial price increase on Gorilla lug nuts (due to the Section 232 tariffs on aluminum and steel), which we'll be absorbing for all backorders that included lug nuts. We've also allocated enough lug nut stock that we could (but won't) sell to other customers to ensure that we can cover everyone who pre-ordered a set of 17x8" Five Stars for the LC100. Normally we'd just order more as needed once our inventory runs low, but I have concerns that there might be a shortage of lug nuts because Gorilla sent out notices of impending price increases. Usually when that happens all of the existing inventory dries up, so we've put aside ample inventory of M14x1.5P short, extended thread, conical lug nuts and the appropriate spline keys.

On a side note - we have been working on a few fully forged models which would not be subject to the same delays because the wheels would be manufactured in a different factory (not in Malaysia). The main drawback is that fully forged wheels cost about 2.5x the price of a set of flow formed wheels. We're producing a batch of one of the forged models, and they'll be available in about 45-60 days.

All good man. It took me an eon to find the right next wheel for mine and these looked right. These will get 35s on em. I wound up replacing a couple of my alignment-chewed 33s and getting that front end fixed up. Not completely sure if I’ll sell those (it’s like… 7 total wheels and tires, 😂) or just keep em to have an extra set for daily driver use.

Timeline Update:

I've been in communication with my manufacturer for the last week and a half. We have a pretty solid confirmation that the wheels will be sailing by March 23.

The ETA to the port of Long Beach in California is April 20 (+/-), and then usually we receive our container within 5-10 business days of the container arriving at the port (sometimes faster). If everything remains on track we would be able to start shipping orders in early May.

Thank you all so much for your patience. Also, we won't be taking any additional pre-orders at this time. I want to wait until the wheels are in my warehouse, fully inspected, and all existing backorders / pre-orders have been fulfilled and received by the customer before we take any additional orders. Just in case there's a domestic shipping issue (i.e. UPS loses or damages a package), I want to be sure that we have plenty of back stock to take care of all of you who have waited so patiently. Once that's been confirmed we'll start accepting orders again.

As always please do not hesitate to call, text, e-mail, PM or reply to this post with any questions, comments or requests.

Thank you all for your continued patience.

Sincerely,

Dustin

Wish there were plans for a Countersteer Type X or Six Shooter in 18s. Take my money.

We're working on an 18" Countersteer Type X flow formed. Should be available in 2027.

If there's interest in a forged version we could get the wheels in much quicker, but the price would be about 2.5x the cost of the flow formed version.

2.5 times doesn't give me heartburn at all for forged wheels.
I'd like to get more specs on the build, gunmetal. DM me with a datasheet if one is composed.

FN Wheels Rock Warrior fully forged wheel with forged billet removable trim ring

These specs will be available by the end of May:
  • 17x8.0" +45 5x150 (110mm hub centric)
    • Gunmetal (gloss), matte black and matte bronze
  • 17x8.5" +35 5x150 (110mm hub centric)
    • Gunmetal (gloss), matte black and matte bronze
Our Rock Warrior wheels are fully forged (not cast or flow formed) with tons of improvements over the original TRD Rock Warrior wheels. The rock rings are removable / replaceable and are machined from solid billet, hand polished and clear coated.

The wheel shown above in solid matte black without the removable trim ring is a prototype that we made, but we aren't producing that version at this time (unless there are a number of requests specifically for the ring-less version).

Which wheel(s)?

the forged. Definitely like the RW version. Ringed version is Nice

I was not planning on replacing my Icons but this thread is sssoooo tempting. Any chance a price for RWs can be revealed, or hinted at?

Cool. Glad you like them! Right now we're producing them in gunmetal (gloss), matte black and matte bronze. The matte colors are satin-matte (not super dull/extremely flat, but not glossy).

The ring is removable/replaceable, and it's also fully forged, hand polished and clear coated for durability. All of the ring fasteners are stainless steel.

Thank you! I'm glad you like the wheels too.

The final price will be determined in May once we have the wheels ready for sale, but our 17" FN Rock Warrior forged wheels with removable rings will be right around / just over $500 per wheel + shipping.

It bears repeating that these are premium forged wheels with removable, forged billet rock rings (the rings are quite expensive/time consuming to produce). The pricing is higher than our flow formed wheels (or especially non-flow formed Icon wheels). We've also incorporated additional improvements into the wheels over the original TRD Rock Warrior wheels : reinforced lips/flanges, deeper bead seats with retention ridges, taller bead humps, fully finished barrels (the original TRD Rock Warrior wheels have raw aluminum barrels prone to oxidation/corrosion), and more. I'll make a separate post soon with more details so as to not take this thread too far off topic, but in the meantime please feel free to post any questions/comments here or contact me directly. :)

I know there’s been challenges with shipping, but wanted to keep in the loop. Would love a set (5) of 17x8" +30 5x150 LC100 Five Stars in matte gunmetal. Will PM, thank you!
