in 2 weeks i'll have a small test batch that will go out to have fixturing made for machine work, then a couple sets will be tested out while a large order is placed. pricing and website coming soon. i can't wait.

I'M GETTIN ANCY...:grinpimp:

This sounds good. I will be watching for results, feed back and price.

i cant say when these will be available, but i'm hoping by mid jan - early feb.

I have a guy that machined my turbo manifold casting and he was exceptional. Owns his own shop and works with a foundry right down the street.

I mention this as I had a hell of a time finding some one who could machine the casting correctly.

I'll be happy to give you his info if you'd like.

thanks for the offer Rick, i appreciate it. as of now i'm confident that i'm in good hands. i have a friend doing the fixturing and initial machining on the sample pieces, and he's definitely the right guy for the job. i also have a production machine shop lined up for the big production runs. but i get where you're coming from, machining castings is different than machining blocks. if i run into trouble i'll give you a shout.:D

Awesomeness, what kind of steel are you using? Or are they ductile iron?

estimated price???

i cant even give an estimated price just yet, but i will say that compared to the other high steer set-ups that have been made, these will definitely be more bang for your buck. hopefully i'll have pricing in the next few weeks.:)

Any more info?? I'm in for a set for next xmas.... my parts budget for next year is already blown.

a few weeks is up, price?!! ;)

put me down for a set for sure.

dangit! i wasn't supposed to leak that until i had finalized production pricing. still working on it, and the reason for all these delays is the price it'self. i could haver had these out a month or 2 ago but the price would be a lot more than it's going to be. so here's my ballpark figure- $800 - $900 for the kit including 2 knuckles, 2 arms, 12 studs and nuts.

larger trunion pins and bearings will be available, but likely not by the release of the first batch. cost TBD.

wait... the price was supposed to blow the current available options out of the water... this is more?

Ya, but in contrast to SLEE's kit (high steer arms and hardware @ $770) that isnt too bad, although TG is quite a bit more competitive.

Hijack: will 60 series knuckles bolt onto an 80 series ball?

Do you get completely new awesome beef knuckles with the other options? No. So I reckon this is pretty nice. I actually expected them to be a fair bit over 1G.

Do you think billy will go through all the trouble if that would work?
So, no... that doesn't fit.
