Hello all.
Does anyone have the specifications of the actual lug nuts thread size for the 60?
Online they have 12mm x 1.25 or 1.5.
Not sure which one to buy. I think I need the 12mm x 1.5.
Most places are out of stock belive or not.
I see some after market ones on Amazon but thread sizes varies.
I want to make sure I buy the right ones without paying $2.99 each plus shipping!
Is crazy.

Anyways. Thanks!

My aluminum wheels are starting to wear at the stud holes. My tire shop caught it and gave me new lug nuts that wedge down into the holes more to hold things tight. New wheels are on my list.

I'd say the OP has found is issue to be the nuts not snugging down on the studs.

Honestly ...I know you didn't want feed back on this but you should really get rid of the spacers and fix or move the exhaust.

Agreed, that oil leak behind the front wheel doesn't look terrible. The felt gasket back there will seep a little oil that has separated from the grease in the knuckle. But when the gear oil is dripping down onto the wheel and the tires, it will affect the brakes and turn the gear oil in the knuckle into birf soup...a combo of grease mixed with gear oil. Then its time to tear into it.
Thanks!
Pardon my ignorance, but what is OP?
The exhaust is fine, just ribbing on the tires when I turn right.
But thanks for the comment on the spacers.
Thanks

So do you not have a Toyota dealer near you? I don't recall those nuts I posted being that much money. Maybe slightly more than some after market places but worth it to me to know they are right rather than guessing with thread pitch/size options available. After shipping costs of aftermarket, it was cheaper to go through the dealer for these. I mean as long as you are committed to buying some, might as well get your moneys worth and take the guesswork out of it. Seems you are already neck deep in guesswork. Why add more? HTH.

Yes, the dealers have then ranging from 2.99 to 3.49 each. Seems like a lot to me.

The spacer's specs are 12mmx1.5
I think they are the same as the original toyota.
Aftermarkets are like .60 cents each.
Big difference.
Thanks.

You probably over torqued them i e too many times
Probably. When you’re working fast you can get over zealous pretty easily.

all this discussion n @jsan84fj60 could have just tensioned the exhaust towards the passenger side. after some thought on this issue, rubs when turning right, don't turn right :flipoff2:
joking aside, if it's rubbing on turns, i'm thinking that the spring bushings are suspect n letting the body shift left during turning. just my thoughts n theories

Exhaust hanger or Isolator.

When I replaced my exhaust I found all my original rubber isolators had actually sheared off. With all new stock ones in the the exhaust is very firmly located

I think I have a similar issue on my 86. i assume its a knuckle issue?

It doesn’t look like your knuckles are leaking. Could be. Could be a brake fluid leak. It could also be that rusty tie rod end. I think we need more detailed pics.

The way It's leaking indicates bearing/spindal failure. Something isn't fit or is out of round... Bad fitment.
I'd tear into it, something isn't right.

yeah, its a bit weird, can't tell what it is and I have never seen that. Its in both sides but worse on the passenger side. it started after i put a new suspension on and had the rear drive shaft extended-but i doubt that would be an issue in this. are you saying its the ball joint when you say fitment?
