Heck yeah, let's do it!

oh btw .......

there is one more protocol you must follow since this is the 55 series TECH. section

and also

your now a OFFICAL RISING SUN MECHANICAL SKUNK-WORKS Test Piolet too ......

- its standard SKUNK-WORKS Studio practice and company policy to shoot a SHORT Cell Phone Video of you actually using the supplied TOP_SECERT 55 KEY code cut to your T-SERIES factory stamped cylinder

- so it can be archived here on MUD for eternity to help educate the NEXT generation of FJ55 and FJ56 and BJ56 owner operators

]

- So Pablo ..........

Basically just like EXAMPLE SKUBJ-WORKS CREW Member does :

PM me please

thanks

To add to this thread I’m comparing 1969 with 1971 piggies. The 69 did not have power brakes and the master brakes and clutch were shifted more to the center of the firewall because there is a air entry box on drivers side corner. The grill that’s mounted on the fender is actually operating- open to this passage. The first two pictures are the 69 the second two pictures are the 71. As you see the 71 does not have that air passage instead the charcoal canister tube goes through it.

On the left side of the engine compartment the battery is moved back. First picture is the 69 second is the 71.

I should have mentioned that the eagle eyes were two other pig owners @DEW1 and @theSherpa that came over to look them over. Also, the rear license plate light on all of them shone up, and they said in later years it was above the plate.

Also, the 4wdand hi low were on the dash.

Early ones have the light on the bottom. Mid years had them on the sides of the license plate. I haven't seen them on the top. The later years, maybe?

Looks like both have the factory fuel filter bracket still that holds the glass bowl style.
yes, and also has the old fuel pumps remote screw on filter, not the older element style can, and all the things a 1F had on a 40 series.

Under the rear seat, the early ones did not have a latch, have it on the 71.

Sorry to bump an old thread, gents, but I've got a question.

Will 1973 quarter glass fit a 1975?

Do you know where I can get one of those early air scoops?

Are you talking about the rear cargo glass or the rear door fixed glass. I believe they both are the same, but not positive about the rear door glass. I think the only difference between some years are the front doors, naturally.
I meant the rear cargo glass. Sorry about that.

Thank you for the info. re: similarities across the model years. That helps a lot!
