One more thing. I got this tip from a fellow club member. Great prices on parts. They don't have everything. But for the common parts they have great pricing. Free shipping over 75 dollars.

Marshall you might make sure of the Cruiser parts pig turn signal, I got sold a new one last week for an fj55 and when I got it wednesday it turned out to be one for an fj40..........now they are sending an adaptor bracket......just wondering how that will look with one original and one fj40 with an adaptor bracket on the pig??

Never leave the manufacturer info on the box you ship to your customers and never tell them they are the last ones that might be made. It just makes me even more determined to find them.

They have a US supply company. Part #'s are not listed for the US site but that doesn't mean they won't bring them in. And I have Chinese buyers. SO it's not beyond the realm to get them to buy and pop them on a slowboat to Charleston. But something tell me it will not be easy.

If you need funds to put a deal together for larger order you can count on me. You can PM me if you need funds. Also one of my clients travels to China almost monthly, he owns a few plants, he a great guy and may be able to help.

Marshall, Lou, am a bit bumfuzzled; the fender light I got from Cruiserparts has the 45 Degree angled base; please correct me if I am mistaken in thinking that the fj 55s turn signal fender lamps must have a flat base such as the one in the pdf catalogue picture Marshall sent out 212-1603-5JL

my pig came to me without fenders so I have nothing to go by except there was a turn signal lamp with it with a "flat" base.....Lou, the pix you posted on this thread today show the left one with a tilt on the base; is this correct for the pig?

I'm no expert that's for sure, the fender on a 55 has a slight angle. If you look at the left photo the base angle is not that much, compared to the bottom angle of the light housing. This photo may help, I just grab this photo off the web, and another one that I shot.

If it looks like the one on the right in the pic above then you have the wrong turn signal for a 55. A 55 base should look like the one pictured left. Sounds like you have a call to make.

A 55 turn signal has a slight angle to it but nothing like a 40.

yep, called cruiser parts and they are sending a "base/mount" for the 55, thanks to yall :)

www.midwestfasteners.com look under insulation hangers. I found them locally at a building supply company. Or goggle (insulation stick pins )Box of 500 is $37.00 so I'll have plenty to give away. Fo free....
They have peel and stick but its better to get the ones that require adhesive this stuff will stick to anything. I plan on installing soundproof padding using these stick pins. That way if i need to do roof repair later I won't have to remove glued padding from the roof.
