In what'll likely be a vain attempt to get this thread back on track, here's the info on the fuel filler hose I installed per Pablo's "tip." As I recall it was necessary to trim one end shorter but the angle of the hose works perfectly without backup while filling. First installed a little over five years ago. Had it off and on a few weeks ago while swapping gas tanks and the hose is still in great condition.

Jim, why were you swapping gas tanks?
Wondering if you tank tore and started leaking?
I have to drop mine and inspect, it was smelling pretty gassy...
Had a couple of splits in the replacement tank welded directly (they had previously been patched). Can see where the removed tank leaked (on top toward the front passenger side, but no split visible. Haven't cleaned it off yet but suspect a pinhole that leaked under pressure.
