Pablo; didn't get pix; bad about taking them:whoops: ........but the GoodYear website has good ones of the hose itself along with measurements.........the 45 angle hose was a bit short so at Ige's brilliant suggestion spliced a straight piece with a piece of scrap 2 inch exhaust pipe from the local muffler shop + 2 heavy duty clamps..........working great..............al you need is the bend and with the straight piece you have a lot of maneuver room to avoid kinking the line.........HTH

Lou

Thanks!

Pictures?

Came out of work today to find a giant puddle of gas on the ground and a constant leak dripping onto the ground. I have a call into Mudrak's to see if he has one, but if not- does anyone have one or is it a take it to the auto parts store and try to piece one together.

Probably a venting issue..
The hose is definitely shot- more of a sieve than a solid rubber hose. But it was warmer today- I did remove the gas cap and released pressure and the drip slowed .

There is a solution with a new hose.
I have pictures in my build thread if you want.
There is another thread on this topic as well, I think I may have put some pictures in there as well.

So I found the page where you switched the corrugated fuel filler hose for the 2"ID smooth. Was it just a straight piece or was it something that had a bend in it that you cut to length?
Or this?

No, I used the 45 degree bend - 2" inch 45° Gasoline, Diesel Fuel Filler Hose Super Elbow 32" Long - https://www.fillernecksupply.com/2-inch-51mm-45-degree-fuel-filler-hose-super-elbow/

Earlier thread on fuel inlet hose: Fuel Inlet Hose - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/fuel-inlet-hose.849299/page-4#post-10430954

Used one of TJ’s tips when replacing my old cracked hose. Replaced it with a single piece, no splicing. Believe we had to trim shorter at one end.

"TJ's Tips"? What or who is that?

Progress is being made. New hose installed. But, the two vent lines are rock hard and crusty. Had to cut the ends off of the filler tube. I really don’t want to drop the tank- hoping to splice in a new section. I think my original filler tube has seen better days.
