Where to get a replacement? SOR is out. Is there an alternate part that works?

I may have an extra but first have to figure out what the vent lines are on mine to determine where the strong smell of gas is coming from. I have 2 lines attached to the fill tube in the inner cargo area and a third just hanging loose which seems to be the source of the stink. Can anyone enlighten me on these lines?

TIA!

Back in '68, '69 fuel filler was different, more oval than round...
You don't have any expansion tank? Early '70s had the big tanks under the rear floorboard....That's all I got, you got pics?

My Piggie is a '68 on a '77 frame so it's got a mix of years. Here's what I see from the inside.

Where is the third hose at? Is it connected to the tank at one end? I have one of the early pigs and the two lines shown went to two nipples at the top side of the tank itself. My 68-69 did not have any fuel expansion or vapor collecting doo-hickies. Since then, I've swapped the fuel tank and fuel filler neck in from a 1979fj55. I have no more fuel spilling out onto my exhaust now and only had to drill some new holes to retrofit it (and add an expansion tank, check valve, and charcoal canister). I've gone through a couple of set ups and finally found a fume free alternative.

The only issue I have now is that some of the newer gas pumps are hard to fit in the fuel filler area. The tanks on a 68 and a 77 are different and have different numbers of vents. If your hose is hanging from the tank that is probably the cause. If this is the case, an easy solution may be to plumb a "T" into a line and attach it near the fuel filler neck.

chris, check on the passenger side of the tank for any vent tubes coming off the tank also. don't know if the tank is early or late or your filler is early or late, but at least some tanks have vent tubes going to both sides of the tank. if there's no open tubes, then t it, as mentioned.

Thanks Ige, I'll drop the tank when it's low and see what's what.

fuel fill hose

Goodyear® Engineered Products :: Fuel Fill Hose SAE 30R6 got mine from the GoodYear website about a year ago........it was the fuel line hose
2 1/8th inches, used the 45 degree bend one IIRC and since the bent hose was a bit short added a small length of straight fuel fill hose with a short section of 2 inch exhaust tubing in between and a couple of heavy duty hose clamps as per "Nuclearlemon's" advice:clap: working beautifully:hillbilly:hose
