Definitely a ten footer. Rattle can, outside, in a breeze.:hillbilly:

All the blue paint was put on back in January. Also done outside, in a breeze. Let's just call it texture coat.

I'll give it a few days to dry before I hang it. Then I'm gonna put some kind of spray on bedliner on the bulk of the inside surface to give it half a chance.

I still think you ought to give peeps the option on your next go around of ordering the gate without the extra holes in the hinge brace.

DON'T ASK....I DONT REMEMBER!!!!

I gave the truck a semi-deep cleaning this week to get ready for my next camping trip, and I found this old emblem. Saw it on the counter of a dealership about 20 years ago. Borrowed it for a minute for a test fit, then told them to order me one. NO IDEA what the OE application was, and threw the receipt away before my wife could see it!

Well I got lucky and caught it before the self-stick gave up the ghost and 'stashed' it away in one of those 'safe' places older people come to dread. Without further adieu:

The easy way to do that would be to offer the early three hinge version with no drain holes and the later four hinge with them. Kinda makes sense as my '78 had four hinges and drain holes and your early rig had three and none. That would make them both correct to original.

So how is the market for tailgates? Have we reached the point where I have to make more? I could start the process but it would take a couple three months to complete a small run due to my other commitments.

Kevin,

Anything you make will not stay in stock, I think there is still a big market for your 45 products, Bring it!!

X2

After the beating mine has taken with the 45 being pressed into service for emergency response on the warehouse fire, I'm already wondering if I shouldn't pick up a spare.:grinpimp:

Thanks Whitey.

I'm just looking for how much interest there is currently so I can judge how many tailgates I should make.

Glad to hear its holding up to regular use Mark. I will post here as I progress toward having stock ready.
