Do you mean the will or won't work with the FJ60 Tach?

Not sure if this helps anyone, or not.....but the one on the left is original 40 series plate and tacho, the tacho on the right is 60 series ( mounting points are different unfortunately) the white bezel on the right is repro.

Haven't found any listing for a LHD tach/bezel. Only for JDM and Australia. Which the are NLA. Believe aftermarket centers the opening.

I have couple of these from Australia. One is from an HJ47 I believe. The other has a kit from from Speedhut to install Their tachometer. It has an adapter that screws into the OEM bezel. Because the opening is offset seriously doubt it would work with the centered opening.

Sorry....will not work, at least not for my application. I believe he told me those work for an aftermarket round tach at almost same size. His look great and are of solid construction!! Just not what I need.

Gotcha.

I started down the FJ60 tach route but ended up with an AutoMeter tucked under my dash.

Works great, looks like it belongs and is easy to see.

I’d share a pic but I’m out of town working…

That does help! the positioning of the mounting points in back were unseen by me. There is a guy that 3D prints a new housing for the 60 tach but with he 40 bezel/faceplate designed by ANOTHER guy on here with the printing details......but im having consulting glitches at the moment

The Fj60 tach has a flat area on the lower part and the designed bezel mirrors that in the design. Looks great....just need to have one made. The 3D printing info is attached here i believe. I have an FJ60 tach I’d part with if you’re interested. I did modify it slightly on the back though can’t remember how at the moment.

I have a 60 tach and housing but need one (housing) that's modified to fit the 40 with a 40 bezel which I need as well.
