FJ40 Instrument Panel Restoration (1 Viewer)

Hey y'all,

I've been searching for a used instrument cluster for sale and I have found one for a good deal but the seller doesn't know if it is actually working.

Even though it was in a covered FJ and looks to be in great condition, I asked him if he could test it for me first because he doesn't accept returns.

He said he would test it but he doesn't know how, and frankly I've never done it before either...so...

Any ideas on how to test an instrument cluster? Hook it up to a battery?

The procedures to test the gauges are in this thread; -► Clusters, Gauges, Speedo & Odo meters
All you need is a 3W light bulb that simulates the senders.
