Question(s) about the RFC....

I know Simex used to sponsor the event, do they still?

In the first year or two of the event they did not require you to run Simex tires but after that I know it was required. I also know tire size was limited to 36" max. So, do you still have to run Simex tires (I am thinking not) and is tire size still limited to 36"? Is Simex still the main sponsor of the event?

Cheers

Are these FJ45 cabs everyone is running or do people cut down the tops to make those half cabs? - JP

The rear window panel and roof are 45 they bolt straight on.
Then they just fabricate a panel to close off the bottom part inside the tub.

Thanks Chris! I know what I want to do to mine now!!!!

This beauty of a 1982 BJ42 is in beautiful condition! It's at the workshop for some fine tuning, so it's a bit messy inside, but the original internal panels, floor mat and carpet are all original and real purdy in there! The driver's seat is torn, but they are going to have that repaired, keeping the original seat cloth.
