Wow...

Do me a favor and measure to the bottom of the frame below the door...

the fram to the floor?

yeah.. Floor to the frame where the skid plate mounts (but not to the skid)

from the floor to the bottom of the fram just under the door is 27 1/2"

wow..

My 40 on 39.5" Irocks with links is 23 (21-22 at wheelin height)

Why build so tall?

very tall indeed, why not run some larger tires, 40 or bigger?

Just personal preference. I like the way it looks tall. I know its not as stable for rollover. I may come down some . I know it will come down about an inch for sure. Most of the wheeling I will be doing is in the woods and creek and river beds. Lots of mud sand and water some deep water. no rocks anywhere. I am not trying to building a rockcrawler. I may change my mind after I roll it over a couple of times though. heh.

larger tires are definatly an option

I am open for any and all suggestions, just throw them my way. This is my first build so I am a newbie!

gotta start somewhere, learn as you go. lots of people dont even get this far.

keep up the work:)

yeah Im a risk taker:grinpimp:

Looks to me like you might be able to set it down a bunch when you add your springs??

BTW, what kind of vertical seperation numbers did you come up with?

Kudo's for steeping out there and not being afraid of it!

I dont remember the numbers, I would have to run them again. They are going to be diff than before I installed because I had to move things a little to make it all fit.

38s at least:D

Tomorrow I will start installing the new steering column and steering gear box so I can finish my drag link and panhard bar. I am going to use the steering wheel, column and gear box and pump from a 1990 chevy donor truck.

I would lower it 6"

Also, link separation is a good thing, but those lower mounts on the axle look like rock-finders to me

Cool thanks for the pics... Did you consider 60 series? Do you know what the width difference is for those?

I'm stuck in a rut trying to decide what axles to toss under mine...
