See the other green tube pic thingie?? It ties into the upper kingpin mount.

I just want to know if his tires are gonna get into the leaves at full lock (and steering box for that matter)

I am waiting for all of my hiem joints to come in. I already got all of my DOM tubing in. I still need to get my coils and shocks but not sure what coils to use. Steering is going to be another adventure, not sure how I am going to go about that either I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there. I have decided to 4 link the front instead of 3 link, I should have plenty of room for it. I will post some pics when she goes under the knife. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to throw them my way.

Hey all! Well I have the back and the front links done and tacked into place. I am running a triangulated 4 link in the rear, a 3 link in the front with a hardpan bar with coilovers 14" in the front and 12" in the back. I wont get my shocks in for another week though so I am going to tackle the power steering , drag link and hardpan bar now. I will get some pics on here soon but so far so good.

is this what you are making?

This will be a trail rig mostly but I will be driving it on the roads some from time to time.

I may have to run a sway bar when I get on the road and if I dont go to soft on the front springs it should be ok.

here are a few pics of my project so far.

that link job looks cool. kinda tall looking, but it may be the angle. wish i had the t&m to go that route now. ill just be happy with it moving again, gonna try and get the front end back under it this week and have it rolling again, gonna tackle the steering later do we should have plenty of time for brainstorming and idea changing.

It is kinda tall but it looks really tall with the 35s under it. I am going to run 38s. The floor board id 36" off of the ground ( just to give you a reference on how tall it is)

Are the 80 series axles under it yet?? I'm curious of the width difference between the 40 and 80 series...

the 80 axles are perfect for it, only 7" wider than 40 axles, much stronger than 40 axles too. I will get a pic on here tomorrow of a straight on shot from the front so you can see how the width looks.

Thanks, I hope it works!

Ok here is a view of how the width of the 80 axles look under my 40. Half of the tire sticks out of the wheel well. Remember these are 15x8 wheels and 35x12.50 tires. I am going to run 15x10 wheels and 38x14.50 tires so I am not sure how it will look with the other wheel tire set up. I am guessing good. I am pretty sure it will stick out a bit more.

is that what you wanted for ride height?

pretty much give or take an inch or 2

I should have about 3" adjustment with my coilovers but what you see is pretty much going to be it. it may come down about an inch. The 35s that are on it now look really small, it will look better with the 38s and the rear fender cut out and the fender flares installed.
