These seem like a great product and I will be ordering some in the near future, but I was wondering if you where going to every have any bushings made up for the tube style spare tire carriers.

There are two factors that I consider, cost and demand.

If someone can get me a tube style carrier bushing, I will see what the cost is to get them made. Then I can evaluate the demand.

According to some smart folks here on MUD, these bushings may also fit the rear ambulance door hinges, windshield hinges, rear lift gate hinges on hardtops and possibly hood hinges. See link...

I just searched and the stock tube carrier bushings may still be available from Toyota. See here...

Got my Brass bushings. They look great and can hardy wait to install them later today.

I plan on using them on my hood hinges as well.

I had to polish the rust off the hinge pin and they fit on the rear hatch hinges as well.

Cruiser Dan told me he could get them from Japan, so I ordered two sets. They are plastic. After two years, I still haven't been able to get the pins out without heat or a grinder. I had one guy take an multi-ton press to it with no luck.
