Got the electric pusher fans on. These will only turn on when the AC is on. Should make the AC a little bit cooler on the trail and keep motor temps down a little bit at idle I hope

Off topic question for you: What kind of PS hoses are you using and where did you source the correct fittings?? They look great!

Great looking rig, thanks for taking the time to post it all up. Moab sure looked fun this year, sorry to miss it. If you think a 40 flexes once it gets twisted up, watch a Cherokee run those obstacles and their doors and hatches all start popping and won't close. Glad you figured out the radiator issue, nothing like twisty rocks to make the gremlins show their faces.

Did you like your tires in Moab? Most things stick but did you feel like they hooked up well?

I think I got the fittings from summit racing, I believe they are parker fittings, not sure which size. I think the hose is parker as well and I got that from Summit too. The return hose isn't anything too special as its not under pressure hardly. I had to scour the forums to figure out the fitting size. I think the hose is 3/8". Downey here sells some pretty nice saginaw fittings as well if you pm him and ask. @Downey

Thanks Rezarf. I really like the tires. They do pretty good on the street-much better than swampers(they take a ton of weight to balance the beadlocks)and they climb pretty well, but they do flat spot after a couple days. Ive had them up to 80mph on the street. The issue I am having is the rear suspension is too soft when all the weight is on the back and it overpowers the shocks and bounces on steep hills. It didn't do it with the old suspension setup so Im going to add another set of upper shock mounts to put the shocks back at the angle they were before so the shocks are more effective. But the tires themselves stick very well. Im going to sell my wheel and tire setup shortly though, I have a set of 37" krawlers and I need the money from the old set to buy 17" wheels.

So I got my Pusher fans on and wired up for the AC. I could probably make the regular Toyota badge still work. But for some reason I'm really digging this badge. The color isn't even right but for some reason it looks good to me. What do you guys think? Should I use it? Should I make the t a different color?

Upgraded the alternator. I am using a 1992 dodge Monaco alternator. It's actually smaller than the Toyota one but rated at 100 amps. Painless wiring say that if u don't run a 5 watt bulb as a charge light that you need to add a resistor to the circuit. So I added a resistor. Also the alternator pigtail is different from the standard cs130 alternator pigtail. Found one from advanceauto for pretty cheap. I wired the main charge wire to the battery side of my circuit breaker. Should I wire it to the battery side or the accessory side? The Monaco alternator has dual ears instead of one big ear and it's pretty easy to adapt to the 2f. Half my time of the install was finding a smaller belt that would work since the alternator is smaller in diameter overall I needed a shorter belt. Anyways seems to be charging awesome. The fans come on when they should when the AC is engaged. Time to wash off the motor from all the nasty coolant and go enjoy summer! I also gotta focus on my 80 series for a bit.

Niiice! Good find on the alternator.

Have had some running issues with the tbi. Fuel pump died, so replaced that. Then a week later had no spark or fuel. Replaced the distributor pickup(fyi fj60 and mini trucks have the same pickups but with different pig tails but the mini truck ones are 40 bucks compared to fj60 is 120.00) and replaced the coil. Turned out to be loose connector pins at the ignition module.
I also got some air bumps for the front to install this winter so I can jump it. Today I installed a new exhaust tip. Got some wheeling trips in the works. Hoping to hit blanca soon.

Looks good just need to find some of the special electrified paint that you hook 12 volts up to it and it lights up at night !! The Red needs to be the same as the w on the winch.
