I love these pictures of where folks are meeting, and the travels----

@graham5david and I am trying to blend life for the next Southern leg. If any of the 40 owners in our little area of the world is interested in joining our trek please let us know so we can include you. Baton is to be transferred from Odessa, Tx and Pinos Altos, N.M.
Calling @LasCrucer, from a former Las Crucer.

Wait - what? Pinos Altos is prbly 3 hours west of here as the buzzard flies. How about @AZOKIE meet @SOAZtim on I10 between Willcox and Benson where the bigass boulder garden is? Awesome background for 40 pics!

What a cool idea! I'm in for a future run

Yes, but right now we would like to whittle down driving time between Odessa and Pinos Altos. If we cannot get any imtetest then we wiil probably meet in Ft Hancock
That is a 200 + mile one way trip for each of us with mainly freeway driving
If we could find more 40 drivers it could be split up and done on more back roads. So we are calling for volanteers from S central NM and SW Tx
If no one is interested, that is ok
I just think this will probably never happen again and I want to be part of it. personally I think that it should become a continuos relay that never stops.

I'm already looking forward to shuttling one of them back up north. One can dream...

I talked it over with my wife...looks like I am out June 4 (her birthday), but could probably arrange something June 3 or 5th!
@POTATO LAUNCHER, looks like it's time for Plan B. @Geezer Cruzzer, would you be interested in taking part in the adventure with your new FJ40, a little later in June? I could meet you with one of the batons somewhere between northern New Mexico and Salida. From there, maybe you could meet and hand-off a baton to @PWCO70crusier somewhere between Salida and Pueblo to get a leg started up the Front Range.

Yessir, I have sent @PWCO70crusier a pm to arrange a Salida meeting on the 3rd.
Medano Pass is currently closed on both sides so black top it would have to be.
Either way I will do my best to keep these moving North and West..

I can do Salida or Walsenburg and head to where ever. Just let me know who I am meeting, and where to go after meeting up. Maybe I can get a couple of our club guys to join me.
I might be able to join you Kyle. Let me know the plans i.e. when and where.

Some of the MUD members north of you are @nuclearlemon, @Jpilot, and @Rat Rod Rusty. All are in the Denver to Boulder area. Looks like the journey up the Front Range will happen.

Had a successful handoff with @POTATO LAUNCHER this afternoon in Santa Fe. Enjoyed meeting Casey and his brother Tim, and sharing some time and lunch downtown around the plaza at the end of the Santa Fe Trail. The briefcase is now with me, and it will be heading towards northern Arizona and @Reznugget soon. The beige toolbox is in Colorado this evening on its way further north and west. Photos and more of a story on the Travelogue.

Haven't read through all 40 pages. Will try to. I would LOVE to help/participate. I'm in Ontario, OR. Far Eastern side of the state. Somewhat close to Boise, ID. I'm good for a 100 miles or so either way.

I am leaving work 15th of June and heading back up to Boulder (not in the Cruiser) If I can shuttle the case up let me know. I start in Gallup, go through Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Trinidad, Colo Springs, Denver..... I am going to try and get my emmisions done and drive the case soon!

The briefcase is with @4Cruisers north of SantaFe as of June 2nd. The tan colored tool box is with @PWCO70crusier and the Colorado Cruiser fellers in Pueblo, CO. as of June 3rd. The third and final red tool box is with @graham5david in Odessa, Tx.

The Lord only knows what SGGOAT may have started!
As stated previously, maybe this is not to be an annual thing, but an ongoing entity that may become a zigging zagging multicultural journey that can extend on to exotic destinations such as all over Canada, Alaska, Tijuana, Ciudad Acuña Boys Town, Juarez Mexico, Cruisering on down to South America. Flown over to Australia..New Zealand , Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Iran, Tucumcari NM, Tierra Del Fuego, Iraq, Africa, Egypt, and Well........................Yes, God only knows what sggoat may have started.
