We may have burned it down and rebuilt it already. In fact it does look it has burned down and been rebuilt with early FJ40s instead of FJ25s:hhmm:

Phil! He is still out there.

So isn't this like the pot calling the kettle black.

I may have a lead on a HHH padlock. I'll being cheking it out next week.

I hope everybody is having a better fourth of July long weekend then me. Working on getting the garage cleared out so I have some room to work. So some cruisers had to go outside. Between the heat, UV and not the monsoon storms thing needed some protection. 118 Saturday. 112 Sunday. We will se what to day brings.

Happy Fourth of July guys.

Yea but it's only hot half the year. A hour after I took these pictures I was cooling off in the pool. I found a picture of a rust spot on my 73. Does this count as a rusty cruiser. Did buy this seventeen years ago and this rust spot hasn't gotten any bigger in that time. I'll take the heat. Speaking if the 73 did anyone see it I know it's in there somewhere:rolleyes: There is a second option for cooling off. Ths weekend it was 70 and raining.:bounce: Next weekend.

I'd take the 118* any day if I didn't have to deal with rust.... atleast it is a dry heat:D

Here in the south we get all the rust issues you have up north and the heat they have out west, plus ungodly humidity.

It is like the worst of both worlds :crybaby:

Nice rust spot you got going on the '73 there John, it's that low quality steel. :p

I learned a new word this week. HABOOB

I been watching that rust spot since I bought the cruiser in 94. What am I doing wrong? I get it to grow.

nice word...almost got me in trouble when i said it to my wife...i think i said it wrong :hhmm:

boy that would be so cool to only see and watch one rust spot ... its hard in the upper north east ... we lose count of the spots :meh:

...rust spots eventually act like connect the dots, then we lose the truck :frown:

We usually are fighting to preserve a good spot of metal.........about the size of that rust spot.

Rust looks the same as when I bought the cruiser in 94. I better hurry and get some Rustoleum or something else pretty soon. I'm not ever sure why I haven't just cut this one up as much rust as this one has.:hhmm:

118 degrees and a haboob. I don't know if I could stand a boring life that didn't include those:hillbilly:

It`s free sandblasting you get from time to time, put the Cruisers in the right direction, the rust spots will disapear immediately ;)
Cheers
Peter
