Chase, is that for the gasket or the vent itself? The gasket is a little different on the 25, but the 40 gasket can be made to work.

 , I totally meant to say that it is for the gasket.

I have a few different numbers. These were from the F120 partial gasket set that I got from Mark's Offroad.

Crankcase Gasket 11312-61011

Timing Cover Gasket 11328-61010

Valve Cover Gasket 11253-60010

Thanks guys! Added new numbers.

I have one each part number 90947-02006 brake hose that will fit front and rear brakes on an FJ25....if I'm reading the code on the hose right it was made in 8/97...does anybody know what the "real" application of this hose is so maybe we could get them in an emergency from the NAPA in West Bum Egypt? Or should I just bug CDan and spend alot of money on stuff for the 450 while I have him on the 'phone?

That particular hose (and very same part #) also doubles as a clutch hose for a mid-late 1960's FJ40. That's probably why dealerships still have access to it. But, not sure if NAPA would carry it.

ahhhh....while in super efficient search mode I blew right that part....

Added transmission and transfer bearing numbers.

Johnny-

Looks like SOR is not listing them anymore. The number was 080-21-E-U 1958-1961 "USED", note the hyphen between the 21 and E which is a different part than the number you listed. Not sure if they don't sell them, but they are not in the price list anymore.

They have a 23mm hex instead of a 21 mm hex, finish was white metal.............probably were cad plated in the distant past.

Added timing gear numbers to replace fiber camshaft gear:

Timing Cover Seal 90311-45069 034-29A Beck-Arnley 052-2144
Crank Timing Gear 13521-60010
Camshaft Gear 13523-60030 (Steel replacement for fiber gear)

Phil, you just looking for a replacement, that works or original? I'll look tonight, I think I used the heater type one and had a thread in straight hose connection rather than the T style, otherwise the same.

I guess I'm wondering if anybody has tried to find an original no heater water pump? I don't know if I've ever seen one, but I'd like to give it a try as I don't plan on having heaters....I imagine it is the bodies that differ, maybe guts are the same? '68-73/4 pumps should work though, huh?

Added the oil lines from Bill: 90923-03001 SOR# 026-15A

Voltage Regulator on my 61 FJ40 with generator:

27700-30030

Does the steering column seal work with column shift trans?

Bill is that voltage regulator still available? The steering column seal was for the 25 with no column shift so it won't work for your 40.

I will let you know in a few days. Used the part number that came off mine and the parts search link and the number came up valid. Giving it a shot to see what comes in.

Is there a part number for the column seal w/shift arm?

I don't have a Toyota #, SOR was 098-22A. I may have one if I wrote down the number, let me look in the loft, remind me if I forget. ;)
