I posted this in the classifieds as well just in case somebody has them.

I looked through the swine thread but I didn't see any repro links. Is somebody making them or am I going to have to fab some?

I'm about to do the pre-emptive strike against the rust. I can see my paint bubbling up (and holes). I bought a da sander, grinder, a pocket full of disks for the angle grinder, and a sand blaster. Just need to get a sawzall and a welder.

Has anybody made these? I'm also open to a BEEF rocker that would tie into the frame down low but look semi factory from the side. Maybe angle iron stitched to the old metal.

Anybody done the work (I'm sure someone has; maybe the question should be who)?

Thanks-Josh

The pic's on their site don't do them justice. FJ55-100 has some that are actually put over the originals, and look great, although they are intended to replace what was already there before.

I'm personally a big fan of 3/16" 2x4" tube. It looks nice, adds clearance with dent proof metal (depending who you are), and can be installed to stick out a little from the body, protecting doors and such.

Those are actually the original design of the rockers. Now they look more factory. You can get them with or with out the tube "step". They are a great replacement.

I didn't see the price for the pipe style but I think that's the way to go. I notice he also has them for the rear quarter; didn't see that listed.

It looks like it runs forward into the front fender. Is that the case?

I think they'll make whatever you want for them. Yes, they do cover the bottom of the front fender, which is good if your attachment points are rusted out, or banged up from the rocks. Definitely on my to-do list this summer.

Hey guys,

The picture of the green and white 55 actually doesn't have IPOR's nice reproduction rockers. I opted to do a 2"x4"x3/16" with 2" tube step. I wanted the added clearance. IPOR does make a very nice stamped reproduction rocker, but you will need to add any tube work.

The rocker in the picture extends futher forward, but you need to chop the bottom of the front fender.

If you are curious I have more photos:
