Dan, The RCMP will not bother you, and the guy was right, that unless your chucking beer cans out the window and shooting at deer on the side of the road, it isn't worth their time. They know they will never see the money from the ticket and will let you go. They will just think your a dumb*ss American and maybe flip you off :)

Love the build!

On the tires sticking out, I would strongly suggest removable mud flaps. The tops don't have to be covered. It's an OR situation, fenders, body OR flaps. You don't need all three.

I know the Alaska guys are getting dinged for it. So are lots here in SK. It's the rocks that get chucked that they (the public) is complaining about. I have heard lots of guys in the lower mainland getting dinged as well.

It might not be an issue, but removable flaps are easy.

I am running 750 - 775 degrees on the Pyro. The probe is in the actual down tube of the exhaust manifold closest to #4 cylinder.

Looks you have plenty of room to grow in performance .. just I like the exhaust manifold as a better place to run the pyro probe ..

Going to town is not where it matters. Drive it over Hwy 88 before you start pouring on the boost. I've seen double the "driving it to town" temps over that pass with a load. I almost stopped once at about 1100 F and mine is down in the pipe a ways.

I'm too lazy to page back through the thread. Do you have an intercooler? I just built one for my tow rig. I'm interested to see if it matters on the exhaust side.

That is where it is.

you will be surprised how much diferent can be the readings when the probe get all the cilinders exhaust .. there ( where it is right now ) you are only getting readings from one cilinder ..

Ratpuke might be able to tell you more about the BC Cops, but I doubt it'll be a problem. Kevin

Dan - in my neck of the woods the RCMP is assembled from mostly force newbies on their first assignments and they're scared of the "interesting locals" and their "interesting jalopies" (ala https://forum.ih8mud.com/ca-bc-peace-canyon-toyota-swamp-donkeys/314017-one-kind-ne-bc-vehicles.html). Ok, maybe not quite... but you'll likely not be bothered as we see all types travelling the infamous AK HWY. Stay out of the lower mainland and you're golden.

Oh yeah, one more thing... Looking good!! See you soon.

Test fitting the fiberglass pattern piece after it came out of the mold.

The large 1 11/16" spacer is part of the mold.

The stock rain gutter is bolted to the hardtop sides. It is kinda hard to see but it is black.

The spacer is laminated wood to give the cap strength during the mold building process. He cut up a really crappy stock fiberglass hardtop to the correct size and shape. It is about 30 different pieces fitted and frenched together. He then used it to make a mold so he could make the real top.

He is now going to make the actual top.

Below is a picture from the inside of the pattern.

Mr. Dan if you allow me a personal opinion .. would be painting the inner front fender complete black .. ( less the shock offcourse ) ..

What about Rhino lining the inside?
