The paint grief is they never came in that combo from the factory (to the collective knowledge at least).

period correct wheels will look the best, and will fit the resto theme, and are not THAT hard to come by
won't a 1.5-2" shackle lift clear the 33s enough for around town and testing once its driveable?
I say paint it whatever color you want, but make it 2 tone, solid colors just look weird on Pigs...throws the proportions out of wack, or something like that.
I personally am not a big fan of wagon wheels. 60 series wheels look okay I think.
You could re-do some original steelies w/ the "electric panel" gray color and slap some 33s and hubcaps on there.
You are not going to get the '74 harness from Jim? Coolerman has some great electrical bits you may try to repair your harness.
I agree with the assertion that a Piggy should be two-tone (body color + white).
As there was no color code on the '72, you should paint it pink and white.
Chrysler's "high impact" Panther Pink would be your best bet...
