Looks awesome man!

Man o Man did you do it right! I love the rims, love the color, bumps, everything!! That is in my top ten for sure! I don't mind the D90 either. :) My only concern though, those bottom foggies in the front seem 'in danger'! Damn nice ride.

Sharp rig. Hows about some interior shots of the croc skin?

Did your wrench do the oil galley plug fix while he was in there?

Damn that thing is sweet. Im hoping my build will turn out similar.

Couple Qs-
What brand are the mirrors?
How dark is the tint (%)?
What size garvin rack did you get?

Once again man, good work!

Those look like 62 mirrors to me....

P.S. amazing rig friend! and I am proud to say the defender is the only rover I like. ;)

beautiful truck! thats the best colour you can have on the 60 series IMO. mate i got a question, how did you wire your roof lights into the cab? once again, looks awesome, congratulations on job very well done

all that work. too clean let see some REAL cruiser porn. we all like em wet and dirty

Thanks for all the kind words fellas... there was a ton of thought and work that went into the details! I'm absolutely in love with the truck. I'll snap some more pics of it today and make sure to get some of the undercarriage, motor and interior for you.

The tires are tall skinny... only way to go! :) They are BFG Mud Terrain KM... NOT KM 2's... they are 255/85/r16... which comes out to right around 33x10 I believe.

The croc skin stuff was done at a shop here in OKC called Nips... the guy did an amazing job. Has creme stitching. I'll get you pics of that.

The tint is just the standard light tint... I can remember the specs. The cargo area is a shade darker (just like most suvs come from the factory).

The mirrors are the 62 style mirrors, I just love the look of them so much more. They came from cool cruisers in Dallas. They serve their purpose ;)

Um... let's see oh, the rack is the full wilderness roof rack from Garvin. I tried to position it where it covers the entire roof... with the light brackets on front and back, it gets pretty close to doing so. The sign on the front of the rack is modeled after old toyota and land rover expedition signs I ran across in old pics on the web. It says "Toyota Land Cruiser Trek - World Expedition Vehicles".

The truck looks even better in person and drives like a brand new one... although as much money as I've dumped into it, it should! :)

Obviously I'm biased but yes, I think the Desert Beige color is the best Land Cruiser color made... just screams vintage Cruiser and looks awesome. Oh the Defender is a great truck too... have owned lots of Landy's in my time... a Series III Safari wagon, 2 Disco II's and D90's... but yes, like people say, they aren't as dependable... and they definitely cause you to watch the temperature guage about every 2 minutes. HA! But they are good trucks in their own way if you know what you are doing.

Thanks guys... hope this answers all your questions!!!

gorgeous truck! love the look of the gray wheels/ dune biege. nicely done

Beautiful truck. Definitely post interior and underside pics. If you take it off road, those under-bumper fogs are toast. I'd relocate them.
