You forgot the golden rule of LEAN, Genchi Genbutsu, or "go and see". I'm not concerned so much with the root cause of the failure, only that the failure is occurring. Watch the videos, it's not a debris issue, it's a design problem.
"If it ain't broke don't fix it." Or maybe it should be "If it isn't broke, let's scrap it and redesign it so it does break".
Time will tell. At this point all I can say for certian is that the track record of this new engine family is permanently stained. That, and more complication invites more problems.
