Hope you brought your fishing pole— water looks like it would hold trout!!

I’ve got a lot to catch you guys up on, but we just got done running Black Bear today. It was epic to say the least, the pics don’t do it justice.

Congrats on making it ! Looks like a GREAT time!

Is it the camera shot or are the front tires worn on the inside?

Yep inside of all tires are shot. PO said he just threw them on there after he got the new Toyota 15” wheels. I’m going to order up a set of 33x10.50 KM3s when I get home for it.

Couple more from Black Bear today:

Cole, what an amazing trip. Be safe and take it all in.

Beautiful truck. What's up with the windshield fold down bumpers? ....Get ya coming AND going.

So I am betting Black Bear is a piece of cake with a 40. 4 Low once you hit the steps? Bet it made getting around the switchbacks nice and easy? How did those KO2’s handle on Black Bear? I am running same tires in 33X10.5 on my 40.

BTW you are my new hero, not only a super long trip but diving right into Black Bear in a new to you rig!! Color me impressed!

This is going to be a long trip home. We had an Airbnb in downtown Telluride last night, which was awesome. There was a great Thai restaurant adjacent from our condo that had a guy playing live music out on the patio. It was a great night to wrap up our trip.

This morning we took Ophir Pass into Silverton to hook back up on 550 and head south towards I-40. Plan is to make it to Amarillo today. The 40 has done great so far, this was a bucket list trip and something I'll never forget.

I still have a ton of pictures and parts to add in, so stay tuned.

Well, you make it home in one piece? And with most of your spine still intact?

Just made it home. Zero issues the whole drive back. Spine still in tact and ear drums still working.

~1959 miles total.

I will update with more pics and info in the morning, just glad to have made it home in one piece!
