Hey fellow mudders,

I know this question has been asked many times before, but based on what I found, the information seemed dated unless I missed something (my apologies if I did). I'm also a newbie and I figured that a good start would be to get myself the Factory Service Manuals for my Land Cruiser (1993). I contacted the Toyota Materials Distribution Center which seems to have relocated to a new building in Compton, CA (found through a Google search and Google Maps search).

Address: 450 W Apra St, Compton, CA 90220
Phone:(310) 761-9411

I called them up and they told me to contact Helm Inc. as they no longer handle that content. I went to the Helm Inc. website and looked up my vehicle and found that they only had the electrical wiring diagram manual for $60.00. Where do I go for the other content that I need? Is there another website where I can order the paper copies and/or even get the e-version?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Even though there are several versions of the E-FSMs I prefer hard copies when I'm actually in the middle of a repair. I scoured Amazon and Ebay for a while before I came across a set for a decent price for my LX (~ $100 for two volume FSM + EWD). If money is no object and you need it now, see the Amazon links below.

1991 Toyota Land Cruiser Repair Manual (FJ80 Series, Complete Volume): Toyota Motor Corporation: Amazon.com: Books

1992 Toyota Land Cruiser Service Shop Repair Manual (Factory Service Manual): Toyota: Amazon.com: Books

Touche :)

That is the problem with used books... Sometimes you only get close. There were plenty of 94, 95-97 FSMs, but no 93s.

For conversation, I would gladly take a '94 FSM over a 91-92 if I owned a '93.... that is with a little homework on which release date the '93 was and what it had. Cross over/transition years can be a PITA.

Thanks for the search ideas, I'll be on the lookout for the 93 and 94 FSMS!!!

Like you, I prefer a hardcopy. So I got the e-versions and when I need to work on something I print it out. When I am done the papers go in a (growing) 3 ring binder that holds all my LC stuff.

Best of both worlds, imho.

I have a '93 as well, and use the '94 FSM. Ive never found a discrepancy. That doesnt mean there arent any, but Ive done quite a bit of work and havent run into one yet.

PIPA, I sent you a PM. I have a 94 hardcopy available if you are interested. Thanks
Pm'd ya back. Thanks! Also, thanks to chap79 for the original post to the e-versions and DSRTRDR for the x2!

If Pipa is not interested I'm allso looking for a 94 hardcopy

Thanks RB
