You know what I am working against. I want to be there @ 3 on Friday, but will not know until tomm. Also found out one of my great aunts died, so might end up missing it all if the funeral is Sat.

Sorry to hear that Matt, we'd love to have you there, but family is the one thing that is more important than cruisers.......
JP I'm gunning for the 3pm meet. Right now I'm gonna swing through Clemson and pick up another zero degree or twenty degree bag I guess. I don't think there is anywhere around my area that has decent bags. Doubt wal-mart has anything.

tad I have a 5 degree down bag and a 20 degree synthetic with a down liner your more than welcome to borrow. Just call me if you need any camping gear. I'm loaded.

Tad, sounds good man........ I will most likely hang around till roughly 4pm incase anyone is running late, so don't kill yourself trying to get there at exactly 3, see you there on friday!

here is the NOAA forecast for 5500ft; I just want to make sure everyone dresses warm enought for friday night..... Sat. will be much warm as we will be camped in the valley at about 3000ft.

ANy update on the forcast. What I see it says there is a chance for snow friday morning and a chance for freezing rain sunday night. The weekend looks great though. Ya'll are going to have great weather.

yeah a chance of a flurry friday morning, but nothing more than that......... should be sunny for most of the trip, and it actually looks a little milder, the lows now look to be in the mid 20's for Friday night.
Sat. night and most of the trail ride Sat. will be much lower in elevation so the weather should be nice......... it is just going to be a bit nippy on the bald friday night.

Oh and as safety coordinator I need those going to PM me or e-mail me an emergency contact # and any medical qualifications (cpr etc...) I will send the list to JP and Alex tonight one I have it all together.
No woeman folk with me. still hoping I dont have to drive 3+ hrs in this bouncy ride

Unfortunatley, I have to drop out. I leave tomorrow night for 2 weeks in CA for work. I've tried everything I can to get around it and leave Sunday night...not happening.
I know everyone will have a great time and I look forward to seeing the pics. I will have to catch everyone on the next one.
