Very cool pics man. Gotta say that front bumper makes that 4Runner look way less stupid.
Guessing Luke's truck is the red 80? Haven't seen that front bumper before.
Looks like a GREAT time man! Took the fam to Monterey, while that was great, I soooooo wish I was there!

That bumper on the red lc is sick! Who makes it?? Not that I could convince the wife to let me buy another bumper while I sell my AOE hahahaha

It was more the line he took, but he did pretty good for his first wheeling trip to some rocks. Its setup pretty well: arb's, 4.56s, oba, dual batt, 4x4labs armor front, rear and sliders. Not an 80 though!!That is awesome looking wheeling trip! The 80 makes the 4runner looks like a straight up mall crawler even with all the upgrades, both 80s hardly lift a tire where the runner needed intervention.
Yeah! Although I was very impressed with that 4runner. Handled everything with ease really, he just took a bad line on that spot like Finny said. I had to back up a few times myself on that obstacle. That 4Runner might not be the flexiest, but let's face it, neither is the 80. I'd have no issue making a 5th gen a trail rig, but we want one for a daily driverThat is awesome looking wheeling trip! Here's what I found according to Edmunds. They are very close in overall dimensions. I know people hate the look of the new 4Runners, but I think it's the best to-date and Toyota's best looking new vehicle. That New 4runner almost looks like an upgraded cruiser. Wonder what the spec comparisons are on the size of the new 4's vs the 80's.
