Ever been to the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in SLC?

Retiring and disappearing? staying in the area of UT or going to go off a billion miles away like Onur ?

Splitting time between my home in New Mexico and my cabin in Eastern Utah.

On another front...they show a driving traversal line across the Darian Gap for the Expeditions 7 display. I don't believe it. I think some liberty was taken with that routing on the display.

Can confirm, we did not drive across the Darien Gap. We drove into the Darien region but made no attempt at a proper crossing. Perhaps one day, see Darien Gap mud thread for talk on that.

That said, which map shows that? I’ll have to pay closer attention and look.

Lastly, thanks for visiting the museum!

Hey @cruiserdan thank you for the hospitality Wednesday! Was nice having the place (mostly) to myself.
My pleasure. Visitors justify my existence. :)

Wife and I visited today. A truly wonderful collection. Great presentation. I cannot recommend enough - everyone needs to make the pilgrimage.

Went there in June 17,2021. Great place and glad I had a chance to go.

The one with the sunflower seeds and gatorades, still my go to for trail days up AFC :D
Wish I would have seen you before we pulled out of that gas station. We had just come off the mountain from swimming and was adjusting the paddle boards on two separate cars. Of course I didn’t know that was you at the time until I posted something on mud and someone identified you.
Regardless I would have talked to you for the simple fact you having an older cruiser. Especially a 70 series but again didn’t see it until we got back on the road

It would have been great to chat. Next time.

That BJ74 is actually one of the newer Land Cruisers in my fleet 😄

I managed to visit as well! Was there on the 4th of this month. What a great place to spend time and be checking out land cruisers!

My son and I stopped by Monday morning, we were on our way home to Cali from Grand Rapids Michigan. We were greeted by Jules who was working alone that day, she told us that Dan is RETIRED officially, I guess I miss that deadline somewhere but nonetheless the experience was mind blowing just to see a rare collection of LC that have cruised the streets and some parts of the world. I even put my wife on a video call so she could see what was in the museum she wanted the Megacruiser and my son wanted the Prado. I have a few favorites including the exact duplicate of my 87 FJ60 in silver. Bought some souvenirs to take home and we left there close to noon. Jules was awesome and she didn't get tired answering all my questions. Thank you to all the people that was involved in putting it together, we will be back for sure, a few shots of our visit. 😁
