Thanks, maybe lift it enough for some 35's, gears and maybe some power adders or engine swap. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself but I don't want to blow too much budget on it because I'm still looking for an fj40. Any suggestions on lift kits and popular engine swaps would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the 3.4 v6 then you have one of the best Toyota engines ever made, I wouldn't swap IMHO. I would pickup some 33's and run those for awhile and see if you can do the trails you want to do before you jump to 35's but to each his own. Start a build thread and keep us posted with what you do.

After driving it for a couple days now I can see its stronger than I originally thought. A friend of mine has the 3.4 in his tacoma pre-runner and I helped him move and hauled my trailer with his truck and that thing was a dog. My 03 4-Runner has the 4.0 and I think that motor would be great for the T100.

I started on the rear bumper this weekend. I saw boxrockets a while back and its pretty much exacty what I wanted so here's my version.

Sweet custom bumper, my crime rear bumper has a dent in it so I might try to salvage it and beat it out. I like your front bumper as well and looking for a bull bar just to mount some lights on. I haven't had any luck finding one though.

thank you

Got tired of looking at the worn door panel so i refreshed it with some vinyl. Got enough vinyl for both doors for under $6. The glue was the most expensive part of the job. The vinyl color matched perfectly to the tan interior. It was a remnant so they didnt have any information on it, unfortunately.

Im disappointed with the job. The 3m adhesive didnt stick as well as i hoped.

That was my biggest problem with the SR5 models when I was looking for my truck. Somedays I would like the power windows, locks and mirrors, but the cloth door and arm rest was always trashed out in all the trucks I looked at. The lesser models have plastic in that panel just like the rest of the door, very tough and easy to clean. I don't think they ever had a plastic panel with the provisions for the power controls though. So I'll take my manual window crank and good looking door panel.

Sorry about the job, that is hard to do, sometime that adhesive sticks like hell when you don't want it to, and other times you can't glue a feather on with it.

Ive learned a whoooole lot building the rear bumper. I ended up having to redo the whole thing.
Here are some photos of the new one.

Still a long way to go.

Looking Good. You got plans for the corners or are you just going to box in the ends?

And on a side note, if you happen to have another one of those 5 spokes laying around, I would be happy to contribute to your build fund in exchange for one. :D

Looking great!

Thank you. The corners are boxes and I'm going to do a single tube around the side like boxrocket.

I don't have a spare 5-star but I'll keep an eye out.

Looking forward to seeing it completed.

What 3m spray did you use? The 77 isnt very good, but from everything I have read the 90 is good stuff. I bought some 90 for my van interior build but havent used it yet.

The truck turned over 222,222 miles taking me and some friends to hike over the weekend.

Really clean looking T100

Well, I finally snapped a pic of my truck with the ARB on it. Just got done doing some PM and repairs. Had the transfer seals start leaking, the front output especially just flat out failed after hunting season. Needed wheel bearings repacked, replaced the original ball joints while I was at it and a couple other things. Been driving my FJ60 most the winter now.

I like the way your ARB came out. The design of the 100 series ARB I used really sticks out. I don't know if it was to make room for the winch or increased area for crush in a crash. I like how yours is a couple inches less. I'm thinking of building my own ARB style bumper for our 80. It is just my wifes DD, but I would like some deer protection. I don't like the way the wings sweep up so far on the 80 ARB, I want a straighter bottom to the bumper I want to build. I need to find someone that can bend tube in my area, no luck so far.

I also put on new rubber and the silver 16" steel rims you see. I had 2002 Sequoia 16" aluminum rims on it from the PO. They were alright, but the deep dish design of the OEM rims allowed a lot of mud and snow to stick on the inside and was terrible for wheel balance and very hard to wash out. I'm hoping the more centered dish design of these rims help them clean better, that and the added weight will override some out of balance. I've never had problems with mud and snow after busting drifts on my 60 or 40 with traditional steel wheels. Unfortunately winter seems to be fading early around here, may not get to test it out like most years.
