1st gear started randomly popping out of gear when driving. Recommendations were to start with the cheapest thing first- replacing the shifter seat and everyone recommended marlin crawlers heavy duty seats. So I grabbed their seat and socket. Should have also got a shift handle dust boot while I was at it but didn’t know. The factory shifter seat was crumbled so it needed to be replaced. And remember to pull the rubber o-ring spacer if using marlin crawlers seat.
It was an easy fix, the shifter feels more solid, and it isn’t popping out of gear.
