WOW 5gal = 10 year supply, your birfs use a lot of grease :flipoff2:good thing its free;)

FYI - Used the oil seal install tool wrapped in a baggie and easily filled the old tub. Going to use the same trick to fill the ball tomorrow when I get my Birf back from the machine shop. Super easy and little mess.

I just left the pop top on removed the open end cover and since the tube is cardboard I just squeezed from the pop top end to the open end like toothpaste, empties in under 10 seconds. I just used my gloved hands to force grease into the birf until I heard no air popping, and done!

The cap from a 5 quart jug of oil fits perfect into the capped end. Pop the pull tab off then use the handle side of a screwdriver and push the grease out.

I Filled the birf with a rubber spatula as usual but pushing the grease out of the tube into the ball with the birf installed is Sooooooo easy! I moved the birf to the left, pushed 1/2 a tube in the right, moved the birf to the right and pushed the remaining 1/2 tube into the left side. I then pushed it up and put another 1/2 tube under the birf. It filled very well and very quickly.

I got a peenewmatic grease gun years ago, got tire of the Popeye jokes
