Hmmmm 4 doors for kids would be nice.

Only thing beter than 1 UZ is 3 UZ.

4 door with kids is a must... why did you sell the 100 again?

2 hour daily commute, new house, and 9 month cruiser ownership seems to be my trend

GREAT job fellas!!! now the wife has expanded the discussion BACK to 60 series with the 4 door issue.

SIGH...I had it all figured out....

80s are the one series I just never really liked......

Bomar, anything I buy will A. run well or
B. go to Rob for anything beyond a dome light bulb change

Whatever 4 Runner has the 3.4 V6

Best motor ever. Power and mileage.

3rd Gen (96-2002). I'm partial, but they are great trucks and in the current market, a good one could be had for $5-$6k

They did have a v8 for a few years.

I believe the V8s were and option in the 4th generation 4Runners. My 3rd gen, 1998 (w/ 3.4 liter V6), is by far the most mechanically reliable Toyota 4x4 I have ever owned. It has 275K miles on routine maintenance and still gets 20+/- on the highway. It has bounced, back and forth, between my dad and me since I bought it in 1999 with 55K miles.
