Has anyone found a solution for a replacement lens for the early side mounted front turn signals? I was thinking of getting some amber reflective plastic, cutting it to size and putting them in.

Anyone tried anything like this? Motorcycle signals?
 
Brand new lights from Toyota for the 40's are not expensive, don't know if they are available for the pigs, but the only difference is the base, you probably can swap it.

Those WILL NOT fit the really early pigs like mine with the apron mounted lights; I checked these out personally since I live in OKC. You are right though, the seller is a straight guy. They sell lots of repopped cruiser stuff and they are honest. Lots of 40s and 45s there as well as some stuff I have never seen, like RHD diesels.... They do restos also and have a nice upholstery setup. Good thing is they bought a 69 pig and are going to start doing some repop stuff for the 55.....

Hey Jake... good to know bro. I still haven't sent you a pic of the back seat. sry man I will try to get a shot of that this weekend. So they are gonna get some 55 parts? That rocks and especially the early ones. :grinpimp:

work'n on it. regarding the seat, I think I figured it out. The arm attached to the seat, has an eccentic that fits into the small clip bracket on the floor. Once you have both sides in, you turn the white knob thing (or what's left of it) and the eccentric "locks" down in the clip. Kind of a PITA, so most likely why the newer pigs have a different setup. Mine works most of the time, but I am looking for a way to R&R it w/o a lot of fabbing...will let you know.
