This is when Skye's pup Billy was only about 6 month old (and hadn't grown into his ears properly) in the back of the 80 and in the dog box on the HJ45:
"Ok, we're in the car, where are we going"... nowhere because I just wanted the tools out the back...
"I can jump in the dog box Mum" (Skye had been standing to the side looking in as well)
Now with him grown into his ears, they stand up brilliantly... just are like BMW Indicators... included, but very much optional in terms of operation....

I'm dog sitting our kids dalmation/mastiff cross.
He is an extremely friendly boi, and I find him interesting as well because both dalmations and mastiffs originate from the same geographic area.
Tonight I got to see the war dog in him for the first time as he launched his 100+ pound frame against the front door in response to some teens who are doing pranks in the neighborhood.
I work with dogs everyday, but have to admit that I was nearly peeing myself in fear. Watching him allow toddlers to pull his ears and climb on him with the happiest smile you can imagine just doesn't compute.
He is a damned good dog.

Spent today on a long trip to just outside Atlanta to rescue some sweet babies.

Did a twofer rescue earlier this week and both of the dogs call to me. Meet Mika and Yeti. Fostered and up for adoption and both sweet as pie.
Sick Saturday. Our good boy Charley woke up puking, lethargic and shaking. $300 in tests later, we have to wait until Monday to find out what's up.

Funny you should mention that. I found this alive Eastern newt on our porch just now. I wonder if he ate one....
