View attachment 1674920 Know my Pups dig a ride in the 60 because they know they are going to hunt, train, play, etc. When they are in the truck, I have them in kennels in the back at all times. No exceptions. Yes I'm sure either would like to cruise with their head out the window or sitting in the front/back seat. It only takes what we would consider a slight fender bender to send your best friend smashing into or through the dash / glass. Laws of physics: object in motion tends to stay in motion........unless restrained by a seat belt or the confines of a dog kennel. Those sling seats for the back are a good second option as well. On a similar note, I cringe when I see dogs riding in the back of a pickup or on a flat bed. Poor pups would not stand a chance in an accident, even minor. Keep your best friend safe!
For the hundreds of trips, I just don't take pics when they're in the truck. The last one, there was a herd of Elk about 100m down behind the truck. Really lucky we hadn't let them out yet.
