Nellie, the A personality of the duo, often made her little sister Pearl pay a price getting back into the truck. Pearl loved the game.

I could do this all day but I'll stop for now. Both Nell and Pearl loved the 62 and are sorely missed. Our current Golden came from the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies - GRRR - and is intimidated by the 62 but really likes her throne in the back of the 100.

I absolutely love this thread! My first dog back in the 80's was named Cruiser because I wanted an fj40 so bad. Ended up buying a pickup for work, so Cruiser never actually got to ride in a cruiser. When I bought my 62 three years ago Jack, our 90lb med golden retriever would sit patiently for hours in the cargo area while I wrenched it into a DD. Never had to leash him up which was rare for him cause he liked to roam the neighborhood so much. Sadly, I never got a pic of him in the rig before he unexpectedly died. Thanks for sharing everybody.

These are OEM and came from a truck brought in from Saudi Arabia, or so the story went, in 2004. Most of them came from OZ but that market has pretty well dried up, I think.
