Do you cover your spare wheel(s) or not if on a rear carrier ?

There are some good tyre covers around that's for sure.

I've got no under-cover place to keep my 80 at home or work - it's always 100 pct exposed to the elements. I try to do tyre rotation every 5 to 10 k km's (3 to 6 k miles). 285/75/r16's are heavy tyres so not something I want to be handling everyday. ;-)

How come I see so many Isuzu Troopers in your pictures? Are they very popular in Israel?

@Dragos80 i started my way in Isuzu club i had 1994 3.2 gas DOHC 220HP improved engine ARB F+R locked

I really like the boxy design, but the performance is not something to rave about, plus independent front suspension. Way heavier than a 4Runner too.

How did you get 220HP out of the 3.2 engine?

What if you have a flat tire?

Actually happened tonight! Talk about Karma.... lol
Luckily I carry my co2 with me, and I always have plugs, rat tail file, and plug pusher in my drawer. 5 minutes, and all is good again!

Tire repair or AAA. I haven't had a flat on any of my cars in like 15 years.

:meh:
I hadn't either, my last flat was in 2001 on while driving my '68 Malibu. I had a blow out a few weeks ago just 10 miles from the house on the completion of a 1800 mile trip. There is no plugging a 5" hole in the sidewall. Could I have called AAA or equivalent, sure. And waited 1.5-2 hours for them to show up and tow me home. So I changed it myself and was back on the road in about 20 minutes.

And my tire/wheel combo is ~115 lbs. Gotta eat your Wheaties if you want to roll on big meats.
