I have seen one in the wild in San Diego....great looking bumper for sure.
I hope "somewhat" is the operative word and that there is still some semblance of an order. Having jumped on board relatively early, stayed in contact and paid up as soon as was possible it would be nice to reap some benefit. It's great for you that new guys have stepped up to fill the spots of some who backed out. And I think I can appreciate what it's like to make the leap from being an employee to owning a small business and the risk you're taking but it's been a long wait so far. I'm certain it will be worth it when the bumper arrives but getting it a couple weeks sooner rather than later would be nice. I realize that if all goes as planned you'll crank all of these out in short order next month but would hope you'll ship as they're finished and not build out 20 bumpers and ship them all at the end. Whining over...

That's what I mean by obsolete, the guys that have paid and kept in contact are going to be the first to get bumpers
. The ones who have not contacted me or at least paid a deposit are no longer on the list.
When I go into full production mode I will likley be building about 5 at a time and shipping 5 at a time.
It is far more productive for me to build 5 of the same pieces at a time. I will admit that there will be some further down the list that you will see get bumpers first but this is only because they are coming to me for install and I want to get as many installs done before I start shipping as possible, this way I can give the best write up I can on the install.
Again I thank you all for your patience! I understand how difficult it is to pay this much for something and have to wait as long as you have!
I appreciate the transparency. I hoped/figured you'd do them in small batches and ship, just wanted to make sure. Totally understand the install stuff...had I seen that without an explanation I would have been a bit miffed. It sucks to wait longer than someone further down the list but if it means a relatively hassle free install it's what's best for all of us.

Any thoughts on how to route the tailgate light wiring? I have the light already attached but I'm still contemplating what to tap it to. Likely that I may need a hole or two drilled if I want it neat and tapped into the tail-light.
