I see! Thank guys! I had seen this in pictures of other peoples front dissent bumpers and it looked like it was one piece with the front tow points. It makes perfect sense now!

interesting. Can anyone try to share a picture when they have a chance?

Not sure how I missed that step in the pdf instructions. Look carefully at the plates and you’ll see there’s a top/bottom. There’s a subtle bevel on the top side:

Just keep in mind that this is the full replacement bumper, not the low profile. Not sure if there's a difference...
it's the same on low profile

does anyone have any pictures of a Hi Lift Jack mounted on the tire swing out? I am just a little curious about the actual hi lift mounting to the bracket provided.

I have not figured out a good way of doing this yet. Ben said they had a prototype at some point that did not meet their acceptable level of performance.

This is @1world1love ’s photo.

Damn, I like the looks of that, wonder if it is a new development, as I last talked to Ben about it about a year ago.

It is definitely not new as it was part of my original install 2 years ago, but it may have been a prototype.

I have to be honest that I had a hi-lift that never left my garage and I never mounted it, so can't say much about the functionality of it. I removed the mount and it is also now sitting in my garage.

Here it is. I need think I need
To source some longer bolts, but it works well. I did need to pull my spare out a little

There are two ways to install the Dissent hi-lift mount, it can be mounted directly against the tire carrier (similar to how DJCloz has it), or it can be spaced out using the nylon spacer and nuts like it is pictured here. The primary advantage of the spaced-out method is it makes it easier to put the high-lift mount on/off (no need to have a wrench on the tire carrier bolt), another advantage is you can add the high-lift mount to an existing tire carrier without having to undo any bolts/nuts.

Happy to answer any more questions should they arise.

From the instalation pictures I can see that the front bumper attaches to the frame at two points. It attaches to the front plates of the the frame (using the four studs on each side) and to the bottom where the recovery points go (using the two bolts on each side). An I correct or are there more attachment points?

You have it correct, the frame brackets reuse the factory flange nuts (four per side) plus the two M12 bolts (per side) from the bottom. 12 bolts/nuts total

Prepare the rear:
1) remove mud flaps
2) remove entire rear trim
3) unscrew trailer plug
4) unbolt lower crossmember support
5) remediate your rust!
6) slide on Two crossmember supports, hand tighten with longest bolts
7) Find driver side "plate stack". Image shows how it will all mount together
