Dissent Bumper Notification Tone (1 Viewer)

In the course of drying my front bumper from Dissent in the hallway I bumped into it and was surprised at the beautiful 'gong' sound it made.

It reminded me of a Buddhist temple bell.

So I recorded it.

And used it for my notification tone on my phone.

Then endured crap from my kids about 'listening to my bumper.'

Realized they were the wrong audience and you were the right one.

So here ya go.

Not that old, but we would go see my grandparents every Friday night to eat dinner and visit. The Gong Show was new at that time and then followed by reruns of the Jack Benny Show and then the ever popular DALLAS.

I guess I am getting old...

Reminds me of the Getty Museum in LA. They have suspended granite walls which percussionists discovered have different tones for different panels. The have official mini-concerts using them.

That's my "culture story" and I'm sticking to it
