New rear coils installed and bottom of trimmed rocker now sits right at 33". Gained about 1.5" in the rear with the taller and heavier coil.

Not discrediting any of those or J . Take a look at down 4 sound rilla mat. Can get it in a few different thickness and also with closed cell foam.

Big fan of your work and your posts on here. I'm looking at doing that to my interior soon. In your opinion, how does fat mat compare to like a lizard skin coating?

Everyone is different on what they like. I layer my floors for sound and heat suspension. I don't submerge my rigs so I could care less about moisture. I want a quality heat and sound solution while looking and feeling cushy and being quiet.

Inner layer of sound deadner (rattle trap 80 mil or similar)
mid layer of Thermozite dual foil side insulation (22 oz weight)
carpet ( I use plush on my personal rigs) is nearly twice as thick as cut pile and a much nicer look and feel. (22 oz) Harder to work with but the results are exemplary compared to loop IMO.

I don't think there is a single layer solution that will match what I install.
