Are you going to spray just the bed or the entire body

Also after seeing @indycole X3 trailer yesterday the LineX and black textured powder is what I'm leaning towards.

I'd like to grab a set from you as soon as these are available.
Have you looked at Line-X Ultra? I've considered it but have never seen it in person.

Less texture, thinner & lighter weight coating and available in more colors.
From what I hear, the issue with Line-X Ultra is it's so thin many imperfections will show up, much like under a standard SS or Base/Clear paint job. So just as much prep is required to have a nice finish.

Ultra as Tony says is a thinner coat. As far as texture goes it depends on the atomization pass. So the further back you stand when you spray this pass the lighter the texture is. The sample above was sprayed at 4' and we will be at 5-7' when we do the body. Mine will be a bit lighter than the samples above when time comes.

I only want black so the standard LineX is just right for me.

I told myself this weekend I was going to try and get 2-3 hours a day in on the build... Here's 2.5 hours today.

Rolled the CAT flanges and got them and the down pipes installed. Alignment and ground clearance came out pretty damn good, IMO.

Bed deck plate is cut , lights fit and rear window screen is done.

Welds ground and a little bit of dolly and smoothing work with the hammers and it'll be ready for filler and primer.

I got to talk with Dynatect about their Gortite roll up doors and they say they are water and dust proof. They will even warranty and replace if I'm not happy. Their reply to my questions and I liked... "Well... we have over 30,000 doors out on fire trucks and ambulances and misc others and have never had a complaint on the water or dust."

I said most of these vehicles are tucked away in their houses 90% of the time. The guy then repeated the warranty on them.. So, I think I'll give them a try. I need to decide this week if I want to go with the double box or a single box.

Double looks cooler IMO and I like the idea to have a "half bed" whenever I'd like as well.

Dynatect are almost twice as much but I like the warranty confirmation and with the way these mount I can easily remove and build a hard door if needed later on.

Still waiting on a final engineering question on angle of track.
