Digging this thread back up. Is Nick still offering this service? I really need to improve my headlight situation and i do not want to add a bunch of light bars. This seems like a great way to improve the light.

I know Nick changed gigs but if he'll still do a set it's truly worth it.... Mine with the 100 watt H1 highs are amazing at night. too the point that I removed the Hella 4000's on the bumper.....
And the cutoff line for the low is super crisp but silly bright. My GF thought it was my highbeams...

it is Expensive and likely will take a while but for light output there isn't a better way to go - they also really update the nose of the truck visually.... I did a light tint on the corner markers and lower signal lights to blend them in, and then Depos smoked LED tails to match..... a light coat o VHT nightshades and then a few coats of really good clear coat are all it takes.

Cheers

Did you ever connect with Nick on headlights ? I've got a friend considering a set but my email to Nck came back.....

So I have always thought the depots looked more than stupid on our trucks, or any truck for that matter. However, I like the way yours looks, maybe its the all black grill or trim piece. I don't know. Would you be willing to post a few more pics of your rig, you may have just changed my mind.

Even if you just paint the inner housing? Looks are subjective of course, but I think they look really cool when you take them apart and black out the housing. I'm not even running projectors on mine

@jcardona1 that's why I like the look, I knew something must be different with the housings. When they are clear they look like some ricer BS that Joe Smucatelli puts on his dodge to say he modified it.

haha yeah, the Depots are real nice but the chrome housing is way too shiny for my tastes. $5 in spray paint takes care of that nicely.

Maybe you guys can bring me up to speed on this since I was never interested before. Basically these convert your old housings to H4 bulbs ? But now that I want a set I can't have them because they don't make them anymore ? Are these things glass or plastic ?

It's crazy bright...... The HID's have a super crisp cutoff. They also are wired to go high and combine with the 100 watt h1 bulbs. My girl swore impulsively the first time I turned on the highbeams ...... That almost in of itself made it worth it....

Range running at speed looks to be short of a half mile with like day on the road and a nice cast to the sides

Expensive but it's my third favorite mod ( loses to the safe and stereo)

Well worth it even if you just use a adaptive harness instead of HID's.

Cheers

This thread just reminded me about these, so I ordered the 6 pieces set last night. I just installed a set of depo replacements in my pickup and they are very high quality.

Half k. I used Nightshades then a high end clear coat. 2 coats of each worked for me on my Audi for 2 years and the two 80's with no issues

Someone had a plug and play adapter harness iirc. Mine has the hid lows and I'm also using a slee headlight harness

I'll try to get pics of the cutoff and high beam This weekend

You're going to love them....
