Haha

Is your cruiser on the road these days?

I've passed an soa 40 series a couple times lately. Wasn't sure if it was you
Had it out here and there but not insured full time. Mostly been busy with the boat, probably drove past your place 8 times going to the marina and back last time off. I waved on Monday when you were out overlooking your waterfront estate but I don't think you saw me.

Ha you must have just missed some accelerated potato action...

We were pouring cement all day Monday, only time we were looking at the pond was when an eagle was trying to snatch ducklings, and momma duck was screaming her lungs out at him.
Launched a couple potatoes at him. Missed of course, but it's the noise that counts.
I scared him off for a little while at least.

Eagles need to eat too, ya know.

Nice work. I was doing burn outs so you probably couldn't hear all that going on. I think Justin has imposed regulations so you better have that launcher registered.

Well. Seeing as my other cruiser ate this girls shifter, I need to do something about it.

Swmbo had demanded a trip in the convertible this weekend. Possibly even tonight...😬

Anyways. Here's where I'm at. Low range should be pretty straightforward. It's that weird dogleg part that's gonna take some figgering.

Maybe brass bushings will stop it rattling. Not like I'd hear it sitting behind a 3b 🤣

Hard to see because I forgot to take a pic while they were still out, but I have a cornucopia of shifters now.

I need to play with shifter placement a bit yet, but that's pretty close.

Still some mootard paint on that old 4 speed gear shift I cut up 🤣🤣

Gawd I hate tranny humps.

Awkward hateful things. Bolt holes never seem to line up the same way twice.

Anyways. This one is ready for a test burn. See if anything touches the sheet metal under load.

That'll be after a shower and a beer. Not necessarily in that order.🥵

This will confuse the s*** outta someone 🤣🤣

Nah… easy peasy. It’s super obvious.

That said… considering many don’t even know how to drive a standard.

Much less a rig with 4 sticks.

The closest I’ve driven was a (tractor trailer) rig with a 15 speed Transmission. It had a five speed stick with high/low toggle… plus deep reduction and diff lock to boot. 15 forward gears and 3 reverse gears. Lots of fun pulling a B-train with two 25’ trailers.
