If your horizon line is level, that LC is tilting at 53 degrees - it should have gone over. Very lucky it had a stout front bumper.

I think that horizon is a bit off. Thinking it would be rolling if it were not.

And people looked at me funny when I said doing a night run on hells wasn't a good idea. Easy to miss the mark in the day, not sure how some of those turns around the hot tub people could stay on track without seeing the tire marks as you cant really see whats up ahead at certain angles

I showed up at the trail head for the Hell’s arevenge night run...but alas...no one was there. Then it hailed for 20 minutes straight.

The bummer is/was...the 7 other trucks that showed up DID DO THE NIGHT RUN...but were lining up farther down the hill. I thought it had been cancelled!

Found out at the campfire on Saturday night that they were in town waiting out the hail. So...I missed it.

According to the guy I spoke with, they had a great time, and only got off the stripes twice. They did skip Hell’s Gate though.

I do think I’ll try it if they do another night run...but will be happier when I have side lighting. I’m actually interested to check out lights from a company called GoLight.” They make tilt & rotate lights that you control from the cockpit. Would be really nice for spotting thoughts at weird angles on on night runs like Hell’s.

PS. Still on the road...after stopping by Equipt1 and the LC museum in Salt Lake.
Amazing collection!!!!

Holy cow Tony! Notice any issues while driving on the pavement?

Wasn't by choice, but we did golden crack to poison spider and back to trailhead at night with nothing more than stock halogens and handheld flashlights.

made for a looooong night.
That gives me goose bumps. I was not sure if I driving down a ledge or a cliff. I had to get out of my truck with a flash light and see it before driving thru it. Unfamiliar terrain in dark is looking for trouble. But it was a good experience and great adventure.

Any clearance issues with fully tucked tire? If none then that bent angle is what you want for high clearance.

Sounds like a good excuse for an upgrade ;)

Seems like there are pre-bent 100 items for maximum clearance. Looks like you have a 200 prototype right there.

Interesting to see how a trail changes over 10 years with a lot of use

Steele Bender 2018 with another 80 and in my 200. You can see the wall is taller than someone standing at the base, not so in 2008

Is this the same spot Ken? This pic was 4 years ago in my 100. I did the trail on my dirt bike and took the 100 through spots of it but didn’t do the whole trail because we ran out of time.

I dont think so. The tree on your passenger side is bigger and wall to your passenger side is way across the valley at that spot. The outcrop to the drivers side isnt there. Here is 2008 and 2018 again with a better view of that dropoff

So jealous! Those pics have me really sad I couldn't make it to CM this year, my first miss in over a decade. My guys said there were more 200's there than ever before, times are changing :D

We missed you there Kurt! How was Greenland??

Un-freakin believable. The hardest I've worked, driven, pushed and endured in all of my travels. Arctic Trucks are amazing, our route was unprecedented and our team proved unstoppable. We fought -40* temps, whiteouts, frostbite, fatique, broken coils, hitches, axles, springs but never broken spirits. More on all that soon :D
